Our Story

Formed from the Earth. Made for Living.

Marie & Joseph

It Began With a Feeling

For Marie, scent has always held memory. As a child, she would walk with her father while he picked roses and wildflowers along the way. Even now, he arrives at her door with a single flower from his garden. A small gesture, but a feeling that has stayed with her.

Years later, a candle beside Marie’s bed became another quiet ritual. Its fragrance was the first thing she noticed each morning and the last thing at night. She loved how it made her feel, but hid the ordinary glass container behind her lamp. Something so meaningful deserved to be held in something equally beautiful.

While building their home, Marie and Joe fell in love with marble. Cool to the touch, weighty in the hand and alive with movement, it felt permanent in a world where so much is made to be thrown away.

Marie imagined fragrance held within stone. Joe saw how that stone could be shaped into an enduring object of beauty. Together, they began experimenting, carving and refining until the vessel and refill became one considered ritual.

The stone could remain while the fragrance changed. A candle could be lit freely, without saving it for another day. The experience could end and begin again.

Today, Marie works with a fourth generation perfumer to create scents inspired by people, places and memories. Joe brings his instinct for timeless design, natural materials and objects worthy of being passed on.

The Luxuriate is where their two passions meet.

Stone to hold. Scent to feel. A moment that lingers, settles and stays.

A feeling to keep.

Formed from the earth, shaped by time.

Where Every Vessel Begins

Natural stone takes millions of years to form.
We believe it deserves time, patience and the attention of skilled hands.

The process begins by cutting each slab into individual blocks. The hollow is then slowly carved, followed by shaping, refining and polishing over a series of careful passes. Each stage must be completed before the next can begin. There are no shortcuts, because every shortcut would show.

Over approximately four months, the colour, veining and natural depth held within the stone are gradually revealed. Each vessel is then individually paired with its hand carved lid and polished until the surface holds the light beautifully.

Finally, a removable glass candle refill is placed inside the finished vessel. The wax never touches the onyx or marble, protecting the stone and allowing it to be refilled and reused for years.

The fragrance can change with every season, mood or memory. The vessel remains, ready to become part of your story.

Made Slowly. Meant to Last.
