Leather Candle – L’atelier

Dust glitters in the light, falling golden over the workshop of a master craftsman. The scent of leather, of resin and pages warmed by many hands over many years, rises in to the air. The craftsman turns over a piece of suede, soft with time and care, preparing his next creation. He has created objects of beauty for so many, the famous and lovely, the beautiful and great, in his time. This is one of many that will hold years of memories. The plushness of the suede is offset by a delicate breath of violets and plum from the oils he uses in his work. Delicacy and craft, rich history and dedicated artistry, all combine, wound up in the rich dark scent of leather, rising into the air of a golden afternoon.
